Make A Porch Bell With Clay Pot Crafts
Clay pot crafts allow anyone to make beautiful home decorations. There are unlimited numbers of things you can make with clay pot crafts, and as with anything in life, the more you practice the better you will become at it!
Most people purchase pots which they can use with clay craft. These clay craft pots are available in all different sizes from the very small up to big pots that are a foot or more in diameter. Beginners generally use smaller pots for clay pot crafts.
A simple beginner’s clay pot craft activity is to make a bell using two clay pots. You should purchase 2 pots, one that is quite small and one that is around five inches in diameter. Also required is some cord, two wooden beads and some paint in your chosen colors. You can decorate the bell any way you choose, so feel free to purchase other decorative items such as stick on jewels.
To make your bell from clay pots, you should make a loop firstly with the decorative cord that you purchased. This is for hanging the bell up somewhere. The larger clay pot should then be turned upside down so you can pass the cord through the hole in the pot.
The pot can then be laid on its side while you slide a bead up the cord. Then tie the cord around the bead, this stops the bead from moving around.
At the other end of the cord you can attach the smaller clay pot. This can be done in the same way as described above.
After this is complete, you may decorate the outside of the pot any way you wish.
